Why is it so important to take time out?
We feel very stressed or guilty about taking time out for ourselves.
You may feel you are neglecting your family, kids relationships.
You may not be in a place work-wise to create time out for yourself.
You may financially not be in a position to even afford a time out.
As creators of these retreats, we understand every one of these points, and they are all valid.
Look at it this way. You may not be in a position to go for a retreat right away. But what if you made that commitment to yourself to take time out for yourself. It is our mindset that matters.
You may just start taking out few hours a day to tend to your plants, or to journal.
Once you start honouring yourself, you may start getting more help than you thought you would get. For example, you may find a great caregiver if you have someone you need to take care of.
This happens only if you have taken the first step towards committing to yourself. We live our lives wishing our problems to go away, without actually changing our mindset
How much do we look at the impossibility of things, just because we have not even given ourselves the permission to honour, regard and even pamper ourselves.
